Making the Most of Vacation Pay

Hard work deserves well-earned rest, and Vacation Pay/PTO Pay ensures union members have access to their funds when it’s time to take a break. OE Federal helps members secure and access their Vacation Pay, making it easy to manage and use when needed.

How Monthly Vacation Pay Works

Step 1

Each month, employers send Vacation Pay to Zenith American Solutions Trust Fund.

Step 2

The funds are then transferred to OE Federal Credit Union and deposited into members’ savings accounts.

Step 3

Vacation Pay becomes available within 90 days from the employer’s deposit.

Don’t have an OE Federal Savings Account yet? That’s okay—the funds are still held at OE Federal. Simply complete a membership application online or at a local branch to access Vacation Pay.

How to Access Vacation Pay

For easier access, members can transfer Vacation Pay from a Savings Account to an OE Federal Checking Account—providing immediate access to funds.

OE Federal Checking Account – Comes with a VISA Debit Card, offering access to fee-free ATMs nationwide.
Online & Mobile Banking – Members can manage funds anytime, anywhere. The OE Federal mobile app is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

How to Find Vacation Pay Deposits

Vacation Pay deposits appear in monthly or quarterly statements from OE Federal.

Members can check their account balance anytime by logging into Online Banking or using the OE Federal mobile app.

*Vacation Pay must be accessed at least one-time within a 12-month period or it will become “inactive” and will be subject to escheatment after 24 months. State Law requires all accounts that do not have member contact in a 3 or more year period to be turned over to the state. Check your local state law for specific time period.
